Aaaaaaaaand We're Off!

I am typing from the Ohio - West Virginia border!

We have embarked on our 10-day Disney trip!!! We're driving to Savannah, Georgia tonight and finishing the last 5 hours of the drive tomorrow. We should arrive at our hotel around noon. The group includes my cousin Karen, her husband and three kids, her mom Betty (my mom's sister), my mom, and of course Missy, Hannah, and I. We're so excited about this trip! We're grateful that the blizzard hit over the weekend as the roads should be all-clear now (and we have some mountains to drive through).

We had a snafoo this morning. We left around 5:15 AM and were to Wooster (about 20 minutes from my sister's house) when my mom got worried that she didn't have her wallet. We pulled off at a church for about 15 minutes while Mom searched her luggage, called my dad and had him search at their house, etc. We decided at 5:51 to head back to our house. As we pulled back into the garage, my dad called and he'd found her wallet at his house (for those of you with curious minds, it was in a plastic bag, on the floor, by a lounge chair in the master bedroom. Perfect place for a wallet, right? ;)). We drove another 10 minutes to my parents' house, where my dad was standing out in the cold on the road so we didn't even have to pull in the driveway. Wallets in hand, we started out again at 6:29 AM! Thankfully that's out of the way. We're keeping close contact with Karen, whose clan we're hoping to meet up with around Columbia, SC.
