Summer 2009 Highlights

We visited Mom and Dad one day, and Hannah enjoyed smelling the lilac bush and admiring all the buds that were sprouting.

My mom and dad keep Hannah's toys in a Rubbermaid container. I convinced Hannah to climb in to see if she'd fit. She did.

She thought this was great fun! And we reminded her many times that she does this only with adult supervision! Frankly, I'm not too worried. I can't see her getting the lid on behind her in this position!

I had the urge to put her hair in tons of little ponytails a few weeks ago. It took about an hour to do, and we ended up with 20 braids!

Then, of course, it was time to braid them! Hannah loved this and wore it for a day or two. She slept in it (not sure how comfortably), and she was very proud of her hair. A little girl at Applebees saw her, her eyes got as round as saucers, and she said, "Mommy! Isn't her hair beautiful?!" An older woman at Subway even gave her a couple of dollars "for being so pretty." Isn't that hysterical?

Hannah starts preschool in a few weeks and got a new "pack pack" to bring home her papers. It's Little Mermaid, and she LOOOOOOOVES it. She wore it around the house often, stuffing her prized possessions in it: fingernail polish, her stuffed T-Rex and stuffer turtle, and of course her baby goes everywhere with her, too!

Hannah's medal after her gymnastics recital in June.

Hannah loved playing in her pool and her Step Two playset. She's ingenuitive; she asks us to put the slide into the pool so she can have her own pool slide!

Hannah got a Princess Jasmine costume to wear for her boutique appointment at Disney a few weeks before we left, but we wouldn't let her wear it until a few days before. Finally, we let her break it out, and she opted to do some posing for Tia. :)
Hope you enjoyed the walk down memory lane!
