Today we slept in! It was a much needed experience! We usually get up around 7:30 and head out around 8:15. Today I couldn't get moving until 9ish, so I got up, showered, and we left the room around 9:45ish. We headed to Animal Kingdom and rode our favorite rides. It was such a relaxing day! It was only about 59 again, so the park was pretty light in terms of crowds. We were able to wander, meander, stroll, and every other non-hurried verb you can think of! We came back to the room this afternoon, and I wanted to go to the pool so we can say we swam this trip. We started in the hot tub, got in the pool for a while, and then back in the hot tub. We were only out there about 20 minutes, but it was worth it to me! Now we're resting in the room before we head out to dinner. It's been a great day; Disney this time of year, while cold, is so nice because of the low crowds and the leisurely pace!
Here's a shot of our hotel this morning while we were waiting for a bus this morning. It was another beautiful day!
Here's a shot of me in front of one of my favorite rides, Expedition Everest (an awesome roller coaster that goes backward in the dark in addition to having a massive drop).
There is a performer who walks around Animal Kingdom whose name is DiVine. She blends in with the plant life and is so elegant as she walks around on stilts. Seeing her is a treat, and we got to see her twice today! Here are some shots of her.
This is her LEG that is pointing up on that wall. She's leaning on her hands, which are also on stilts, and her other leg. Can you say flexible?!
On the safari ride, we got to see lots of animals thanks to the cooler temperatures. The hippos were out today; we've never seen them out of the water in 10 trips!
The elephant was within easy viewing today, so I took advantage and got several shots.
This meerkat posed perfectly for me!
A shot of the lake outside of our hotel this afternoon after we visited the park.
This is a chair in the lobby. Miss hates it; it is kind of creepy!

Looks like another fun day! And, even though the temps are cool, must feel pretty warm to you two coming from freezing/snowy Ohio!
Looks like your having a great time. That chair is creepy.
