I got home from work today and saw this fellow hanging out by the lake in my apartment complex.
I don't often have a chance to use my camera except when on vacation or when I remember to take it with me to see friends or family, so I thought I'd take advantage. Neat, huh?

My favorite bird of all time is the blue heron. Thanks for the pictures. I hope he/she stays around til I get down for a visit.
